If I create a hole pattern on one side of an object and then mirror it to the other, the hole callout always picks up the quantity on both sides of the part, instead of just one side. This behavior makes sense in some situations (if the mirror is part of the same pattern on the same plane, or the user intends to call out all the holes on a part, whatever). However, it wreaks havoc with GD&T, since it's often necessary to use a different datum for holes on another face. Additionally, even without GD&T feature control frames, I suspect this is not the expected behavior when the user selects "number of like holes in view".
Could we either update the functionality of "number of like holes in view" to not include the mirrored holes, or create a third option to exclude mirrored holes? I'm not sure how this works on the back end of the software, so I don't know what the most reasonable breakdown of options would be, but having something that doesn't require the user to manually enter the number of holes would be excellent.
