It would be super helpful from an organization and presentation stand point if Inventor would allow appearances to be applied to browser defined folders, so that whatever parts/assemblies are added to a folder those same parts and assemblies will take the appearance set by the folder.
Example, if I create a Piping elbows, and apply an "orange" appearance color to that folder, all elbows, or whatever parts are in that folder will be shown as "Orange".
Furthermore, there should be an option to set rules for browser folders, such as visible, suppressed, reference, phantom, etc. I know visibility, suppressed, enabled, adaptive, transparent and contact sets are available for folders, but they are only applied to "existing" parts/assemblies already in those folders, it would be nice if those rules were "live", so you didn't have to remember which parts were newly added
