Actual implementation of user ideas that have been submitted to this forum

As it currently stands, 99.6% of user ideas submitted to this forum never see the light of day. Sad and unforgivable. Read through the past week of ideas submitted, and you will see users who really need the software improved in ways that speed up workflow or just make it simpler to accomplish everyday job tasks. Now, search back through this forum years ago, and read excellent improvement ideas that were completely ignored. Why? Is Autodesk truly interested in making a product that benefits companies and engineering professionals? Show it. That is all.

Your calculation for % implemented seems to be a bit off... You're entirely right but we can only do so much with the available resources; it's not for a want of trying....

@ChrisMitchell01this was targeted at Autodesk, not individual employees who probably are trying hard. I just talked to a college intern at our company today. He just graduated, but turned down an offer from our company for full time employment. Reason: He had college courses with Inventor, and some with SolidWorks and Catia also. He could see the handwriting on the wall. He currently has a number of resumes out, and is mainly applying to companies that do not use Inventor. There are reasons why Inventor is not gaining market share, and even new university graduates recognize it.

I have to agree with @tstout9GFVP, having almost two decades of working with different CAD packages and just having started with Inventor 2023, I have to say even Fusion provides higher productivity (hello, relinking broken sketch references?) while Inventor is not coming close to "children scribbles of Solidworks" or even scratching on the powerhouse of Catia.

Having reported a couple of SWX bugs I got actual feedback and implemetation in the NEXT Service Pack on those bugs.

I was frustrated with SWX, but the features are there albeit with perculiar workflows.

In Inventor some features are simply not existent (transparent body in multibody parts, relinking Projections, usable feature Partent-child relationship indication, derived sketches) or downright broken - modify a sketch and projected edges from resulting solids are broken. WTF?
