Need the ability to push an assembly iproperties to the substitute/simplified part file. Especially if the link is broken to the part file during creation. We see this workflow needed for our systems factory layouts. We only use FDU for sales layouts. Its too restrictive for our systems layouts.
Use Autodesk Docs and have created an Asset Library Project in Docs.
Plan is, we can use the sync tool from vault to sync the simplified substitute part (containing the matching assembly iproperties) to the asset Docs project location using a schedule with a certain iproperty filter. But need matching descriptions and part number on the substitute part file.
