A BOM column or view that shows the full number of required components if the same sub assembly is used more than once in a top level assembly.

Currently the BOM Structured, All levels view shows the number of sub assemblies required but only shows the number of components with a sub assembly necessary to make a single sub assembly. It would be nice to have a column or a BOM View that multiplies the number of components by the number of sub assemblies need for the full build. i would also be beneficial to have this column or view available for Parts lists. Additionally the proper Mass reporting for the number of required components would be beneficial. 

The parts only view will show the full count/mass but does not show Sub assembly line items

In my understanding the view is correct. The node for the spindle is expanded and shows what parts (and how many) are needed to build one.

I think what you are looking for can be found on the Parts Only tab.

Thank You Raj. Indeed the parts only show the full count required. It does not show the sub-assemblies are required. And the customer that I am working with would like to see both

You could export the BOM to Excel and format everything as you like. I don’t think such tasks belong into Inventor, that is the job of an ERP system.
