Gear Bakery. Builds Spur Gears, Internal Gears and Rack and Pinion.

I was not having much success with the spur gear builder in Inventor, so I ported Dr. Rainer Hessmer's Involute Spur Gear Builder to C++ / Windows 64.  I initially was going to make it a plugin, but it was much simpler to make an Inventor friendly DXF exporter.  Just import the resulting DXF into your sketch and extrude it.

Here is an example:

Dr. Hessmer has graciously permitted me to freely distribute this gear builder.

This is a first attempt and I have not been able to test it on other machines.  If you have issues, let me know.

That looks really handy. I have also been having problems with the spur gear design accelerator and was trying to make gears from scratch. Now that I am also having problems making true involute gear teeth, this might be a better, quicker solution. I think I will try this on Monday. Thanks for posting.

I have added the ability to export directly to Inventor and cleaned up some jitter on the teeth.
