Export and import file between Inventor and Tekla BIM software

I need to use Inventor to work with Tekla structure software. May I know how to export and import file between Inventor and Tekla BIM software?

I know nothing about Tekla, but as a "solusion", a stp or sat file can be opened by inventor if Tekla can convert its model to these formats.

However, stp or sat files cannot be modified in Inventor as you want to "work" with the model.

On the other hand, Inventor can convert its models to these foramts if you can use them in Tekla.

Hi

 

Don't know Tekla BIM software as well, sorry for this.

 

You can check the Import/Export file format that supported in Inventor and Tekla BIM, and select a format (if have) that Inventor can export and Tekla can import or Tekla can export and Inventor can import. Mostfully some neutral formats have a value to try (for example, IGES/STEP...... or maybe .dwg).
