Edit Fillet Weld ...Need way to add Welding Symbol

I am looking for a way to add a welding symbol to an existing fillet weld.  When I am creating a fillet weld, I get a chance to create a welding symbol based on the fillet weld size.

If this is not done when the weld is created, there is no way to add this notation.  I don't have the "Create Welding Symbol" checkbox when editing an existing weld.  The only solution is to delete the weld and recreate it.

I am trying to link the welds in the iam with the weld notes in the idw. This little caveat makes it time consuming for something that should be pretty simple.

Hi karthur1,

You can use the Symbol button to add the weld symbol to a weld bead after the fact. The results are the same as if you were to have added it when creating the weld bead (unless I've missed something).

I hope this helps.
