contact between cylindrical cam and actuator

hi guys,

i'm italian so sorry for my bad english... i  drew a cylindrical cam using the inventor tool then i also drew the actuator ( a simply plate rounded on top) but when i add the contact tangency link between the two surfaces and i move  the cam , the two objects interpenetrate!  Some one can help me to find the solution?

Thanks

Raffaele

P.s:

i'm using inventor professional 2012

I do not know what solutions and/or possibilities you have already tried, nevertheless I had a similar problem couple of weeks ago, ironically the solution was simple. You can find the details in the following topic;

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Autodesk-Inventor/transitional-please-help/m-p/3138614

What valued mentor "coreyparks" suggested me was to use a sphere in stead of the surface of the follower, and it worked. I have created an hollow sphere at the same heigth with my follower and used tangent feature between the sphere and the cam surface. I have also attached a picture about what I did.

I hope it helps
