I just installed VMWare 8 (Windows 7) on my Macbook pro 2.3GHz Intel Core i7 with 16gb ram on a 1tb HDD. When clicking on the icon it starts but the progress bar stops about 1/4 way through. It shows in the Task Manager in the Processes tab but not in the Application tab. It worked in Parallels really good but I switched over to VMWare because I need it for Recap. Does anyone know what the problem is so I can keep working in VMWare and not Parallels?
