You can't place an ISO view then edit it to straight on view and have dims work

I just discovered this little chestnut last eve. and posted a thread "try this" with not much response.

I am now making it less vague 

In IV 2020 I place an ISO view in an idw first because it's much easier to turn the visibility off of multiple items in this view. I then rotate it back to straight on to get my dimensions and it sees the view almost like it's not aligned with the origin....goofy dimensions.  This is totally repeatable but it does have a workaround, I just place the view straight on at first and then rotate it to turn off visibility, then I can turn it straight on again and it dimensions fine.

Just a little glitch and maybe it's been there all the time?

I am using assemblies not individual parts and this is what I get on any assembly

Are you using True Dimension or are you using Projected Dimension?

The screen shot I included is of the same assembly, using the exact same dimension technique on both..... the only difference is one was created ISO then rotated straight on, the other was created as is. Like I say, not a huge deal since I can easily work around it but it still seems like a "bug" to me. Lol

I can replicate on any computer with any assembly I have tried so far...
