Wrong import from Solidworks 2024 to Inventor 2026.1

Hi everyone,

i wanted to know if any of you have already tried importing Solidworks 2024 assemblies into Inventor 2026.
In my case, if i open the assembly with eDrawings, it appears correctly. When imported into Inventor, not all the components are present; many have been moved around, and some have even changed size.

Best regards.

Hi Bruno,

I suspect this could be SWX Configuration related. Or some components have the same names but they are stored in different folders.

If possible, please share the SWX files here or send them in zip to me directly at johnson.shiue@autodesk.com. I would like to understand the behavior better.

Many thanks!

Hi Bruno,

Many thanks for sharing the files with me! It seems to be the same issue as ATF-28573 (having issues importing SWX Configuration files). I have forwarded the files to the project team for further investigation.

Thanks again!

Hi Johnson,

I sent the sample files a while ago.
Any news yet?

Hi Bruno,

I just check the latest status of ATF-28573. This defect depends on a fix in our Translation vendor. The defect is indeed confirmed by the vendor and it will be fixed by the vendor soon. However, the timeframe for delivering the fix in our products isn't determined yet.

Many thanks!
