Work Point Labels from IPT Environment to IDW Environment

Why can I not pull label parameters for these work points? I don't want to individually label them in the IDW file, that is ridiculous and unreliable.

Hi! The behavior does not look right. It seems to be a bug. Could you share the files exhibiting the behavior here or send them to me directly (johnson.shiue@autodesk.com)? I would like to understand the behavior better.

Many thanks!

Johnson,

I think there was some misunderstanding in what I was asking for. This all relates to me not being able to find an option like this in the IDW environment. The main thing I wanted to find out is if I'm trying something that isn't possible.

So I decided to show the Work Points for my drawing views on my sheet. I used the right-click function "Include" to make the Work Points shown in the IDW parts tree visible on the drawing views themselves.

What I'd like to be able to do now is have those point's names (A, B, C, ETC.) seen if toggled, just like I was able to do with "Include". I just wasn't able to find that option. So instead, it seems like I am supposed to just annotate that for each point? That's why I decided to ask because that's not necessarily reliable if another person ever edits the document without prior knowledge about the file.

I was also wondering if I could change the center marks to dots versus a cross hair, but didn't seem to have that option. Is that correct?
