I would like the ability to window-select work planes, work axes, and work points while in the part environment.

Hi

You can submit your idea on Idea Station.

I'm not sure about this workflow, because apart from special cases I think it could disrupt the current workflow, but you can always try.

How do you see it disrupting the current workflow? I envision a selection priority that allows you to select only work features, so you can easily select the work features that you want and turn them on and off to keep your working environment less cluttered. Currently, the only option you have is to turn off and on all work features.

Yes, that's what the Idea Station portal is for. That's where developers come in; and here are volunteers to help with immediate problems.

i understand moving it to the idea station. I was hoping you would answer my question. Maybe I am overlooking something.

I would vote for it.  Not being able to select multiple work features anywhere other than the browser is really frustrating.

 

They are features - they must have been explicitly filtered out of the standard "Select Features" filter.  I would be happy with a separate "Work Features" filter.

You didn't mention the selection filter before. With the selection filter it looks interesting.
