Why is my drawing is missing extension lines and text?

Hello all,

I recently did several things in this order:

1.) Released over 300 drawings to the fabrication shop in the form of PDF's.

2.) Upgraded and Re-built my desktop workstation.

2.) Upgraded to PDSU 2015 from PDSU 2013.

So the issue I am having was created using my old workstation and IV 2013 and I am still seeing this error on IV 2015. The images below shows what I am talking about but I have received several calls from the shop about a few of our drawings missing information. What do you all think is going on here? If I have to go back and review/fix over 300 drawings I am going to be PISSED. I doesn't have anything to do with the machine I am using because I get the same results if I use my Desktop, laptop, or Surface. I also don't believe it has anything to do with the upgrade because the drawing files were processed prior to me ripping my whole office apart (hence the reason I had the time to do it).

Also, the PDF's that were made show random lines across the page that don't exist in the drawing file when it's open. I don't know if that is related or something else but I feel it's worth noting because it appeared at the same time.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that I don't have any text boxes around on this drawing except for ones used in a Sketched Symbol for general notes. I've checked but the text box size is not overlapping anything for that.

Ouch, the first thing that I would check is the Font used for your drawings. Sounds like a missing Font for text to be missing as you are current on all SP's and Updates.

For the PDF's, check that you are using the "High-Quality" setting. I've seen the "Standard" quality setting mess up drawings.

This kinda sorta reminds me of what happened with text and leaders back in oh the 2009 release when MS pushed out an update overnight...everyone came in the next morning and all text and leader text was either gone or couldn't be inserted.

Not saying this is the same case, lord I hope not, for the fix then was to narrow it down to the offending MS update, delete it, turn off your stations autoupdate and reboot.

I forgot....are the dimensions missing in the CAD files or just on the PDF's?

If it's the PDF's, try printing them in HQ for the PDF, that may fix it.
