Why i am having trouble in using inventor on virtual desktop?

 actually my college It department has installed virtual desktop on all the systems and around the campus and as soon as we try to use inventor using virtual desktop we have trouble and inventor just stop responding. we need an immediate help on this issue because this is super important.

Well.. start here while you work on providing more information.. Like what VM, hardware, more details on the issues (duration of not responding,etc..) etc...

May I ask why you are not asking the assistance of your college IT department?   Not saying the users here can't support you but that's where I would be working with.   Meaning the user's don't have an insight into your College infrastructure/configuration and not responding could mean many things.

Like Inventor version?

Did it work before or never worked?

When does it state not-responding?  When launching Inventor or performing a certain workflow?

Does this impact everybody?

To add to mcgyvr and Mark's questions is your virtual environment setup for hardware acceleration like an Nvidia Grid card?
