Hello I need to use the split option and I cant find it. As far as I searched in youtube and web it supossed to be in 3D Model / Assembly. Is it removed in Inventor 2023 ?  Its funny and stupid at the same time that I cant find a simple function. Please help 😄

Hey, I don't think the split feature is available within the assembly environment. I use Inventor 2021 and also don't have the split feature within the assembly environment.

Hey !

I also thought so. But then I saw this video where he is using the split tool in assembly mode. Below you can find the link.

Oh when I watched it again clearly I found the problem. So you where right there is no split option in assembly. He is just modifying the part in assembly mode.

@talha_ozdemir I see how he did it. When working in an assembly you can edit a part directly from the assembly (for example by double clicking on the part). He is doing it this way, so you can add surfaces or sketches in the assembly, but he splits the parts by editing the part from the assembly.

Edit: just a minute late 😄
