When Rendering or Ray Tracing can I get applied images to appear in the render?

I have applied jpg logos and images onto the model to create a finished product look - when rendering I can not get the applied images to appear on the render - is there a way to achieve this or am i back to photoshop to apply the decals?

You can't render images placed in a sketch, you need to apply them with the decal command. 

If you've done this and the images disappear or appear washed out, sometimes this is due to the underlying appearance being too glossy, so you can dial this back to make them look better. 

Also, I think maybe decals were not supported on ray tracing at launch, I think maybe it was a 2023 or 2024 update that enabled this.

Thanks James - I am upgrading our inventor on Tuesday from 2020 to 2024 and it appears that if decals are applied then inventor will render that fine - my other issue was that I applied images rather than decals.

Will have this sorted out by next week - appreciate the support
