Is it no more working with Inventor 2022?

Right now I've seen Coolorange Screengrab in Autodesk Appstore. The menu is looking the same.

I'll give it a try.

Some time later: After two tiny changes it's working ok with 2022, too..

I use FastStone Capture.

It's the best that I've seen.

Amazing what it can do.
I've made user manuals with it.

It's depending on the active Inventor version.

For 2022, two changes are needed:

- In C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\coolOrange_screenGrab.bundle\PackageContents.xml Line6 change SeriesMax=Ir28"

-In C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\coolOrange_screenGrab.bundle\Contents\coolOrange.InventorScreenshot.Inventor.addin Line 9 changePackageContents.xml change

Line 9 to <SupportedSoftwareVersionLessThan>28..</SupportedSoftwareVersionLessThan>

Scratch that, it didn't work as intended, it doesn't produce a white background.

Hmm. Came in with white BG here ok.

FastStoneCapture has a Draw option that allows you to fill the background with any color you want.

It's like Paint, but 1000x better at editing screen captures.

It has so many features that it's worth a try.

Caused by another thread I stumbled in here today.

Strange observation:

- White background can be set in 2021

- Does not work in 2022

- 2023? I know, but I'm on NDA

Hi Steve,

All coolOrange Add-Ins can extend their support to more recent Inventor by changing the Add-In file mentioned above. Simply change the version to 100 and then it will work for many years.
