Welding Tubing together

Hi,

I'm new to inventor and trying to figure out how to weld these tubes to the main tube.

Inventor will weld the flat face to the tube but wont weld the round edge.

Attach assembly here.

Don't really need the whole thing - just two parts…

Where are the parts?

On your machine?

How can I get them?

70x70x6.ipt is not modeled correctly.

You should probably use Frame Generator instead.

Found your YouTube channel and figured it out by watching the frame generator video.

Thank you.

I suspect that your 1st Stage.ipt is not modeled correctly either.

It would probably be best to Attach your entire assembly here so that someone can demonstrate how to use the Frame Generator.

The first stage is a custom tube, not sure on final dimensions yet. Thank you though

The wall thickness is not uniform?

What would be the correct way to model it?

If it is not a standard size in the Frame Generator -

then model just the Inside or the Outside and then Shell the ends to the Outside or to the Inside.

(I noticed that you dimensioned the Inside, so I suspect that is your critical dimension.  Extrude the Inside and then Shell to the Outside.)
