Weird behavior when entering characters with Japanese mode of IME in drawing environment

Hi, I'm using Inventor 2020.3.4.

It happens at text edit dialogue in drawing environment.  When I use numbering mode and enter any single-byte characters with Japanese mode of IME, unnecessary number and space characters are inserted.  Please see the attached video in detail.
I think it's a bug and it annoys me sometimes. Are there any workaround? Do any Autodesk guys know this bug?

Thanks in advance.

Hi! A quick thing to check. Go to Control Panel -> Region and Clock -> Region -> Administrative -> Change System Locale -> uncheck "Beta: Use UTF-8 Unicode for Worldwide language support."

This option seems to create issues in Inventor and AutoCAD. Please disable it.

Many thanks!

I checked the setting, it is unchecked (disabled).

So it seems not the cause. thank you.

Hi! Have you tried resetting Inventor settings? Go to All Programs -> Autodesk -> Inventor 20xx -> Tools -> Inventor Reset Utility. It will reset all Inventor settings back to install default.

Many thanks!

Yes, I've reseted Inventor but the issue still happens.  Plus, I confirmed that it also happens another PC.

Hi! Just a update on this issue, this has been confirmed as a defect specific to Japanese version of Inventor (INV21-1621). But, I cannot give you an estimate when it will be fixed.

Many thanks!
