Visual Style Help

Hello!

I am wondering if there is a way for change the visual style of surfaces within an inventor assembly? Basically I am a design engineer and I often work with plants/buildings that have some models of their existing layout or equipment that I help design around. Often their Files import into inventor as surfaces not bodies because their model isn't 100% clean or whatever the issue is. My problem is that these surfaces appear on the screen as transparent all the time and the only way that I see them clearly is if I use the technical illustration visual style. Is there a way to make the surfaces appear like a solid would in the shaded visual style?

Thanks for any help!!

Hi.  Try a right mouse click on the surface in your model browser, and toggle the Translucent option.

@mpptravis  Tools...application options...Part tab... Check "Opaque Surface" in the construction section and I believe that does what @CGBenner  was talking about on a global scale vs part by part..
