View won't show the part

Hello,

 

I'm unable to view my part as I'm modeling it. I not sure what happen I attached the file and have not been able to view it with the view cube. I can see it when I edit a feature and select home view but I'm unable to model it future because I cannot change the view.  Can you help me please.

You are trying to edit a 3DPrint export file.  I would use the Make Part command and create a part from the included solid body.  See the screencast.  You did not mention what version of Inventor you are using.  I attached the part I made from the solid in Inventor 2019.1.1 format if you can use it.

Hi! For some reason, the scope of the part is pretty big due to Work Plane5. It is located very far away from the part. You can fix it easily by doing the followings.

1) Open the part.

2) Right-click on Work Plane5 -> Auto-Resize.

3) Home View.

You will see the part within the view.

Thanks for the help I have made the part separate from a stl.file and edited the part from there.
