View Boundary Box adjusting

Once again, I'm having to post what should be a simple find, but isn't.

How in the world does one adjust the view boundary box? I'm not talking about the fence around a detail view and changing it from round to rectangle, etc. I'm talking about the fence/box you see around basic, projected or section views.

I know there's a way, or at least my old man's memory thinks there is as I've run into this very thing a few years back.

Why is stuff like this so dang hard to find either on these boards or in the Inventor Help? These boards would be a whole lot less cluttered if Adesk improved their Help documentation, but I digress.

Use Crop then change the crop sketch?

P.S.: section views have their own sketch you can also edit this way.

I don't think there is a way to do this other than what @Gabriel_Watson has suggested... which might be the method you are remembering ( but I think my old memory would not have remembered that trick, had he not mentioned it 🤔

This is what came to mind for me... just in case this is what you were thinking of, but this is only for an assembly, and only for assemblies with reference parts

You nailed it Curtis.... I had this on the back of my mind to post too, but started a part instead of assembly and never saw the option.
