I'm trying to accomplish the above. However, It keeps saying i have too many doms, and not telling me what they are. Please help. I'm assuming 50 lb lid w center of gravity right in the middle. I'm lifting it at 1/4 of its length (or 1/2 of the way to the center of gravity). It needs to move up 90 degrees. I'm predicting it'll come up with right around 100 lb for my gas spring force. If the software could confirm or dicsonfirm my estimates i would know better if im headed in the right direction.

The moving mechanism has 3 degrees of freedom, you should reduce it to 1 before checking the force. I was going to test it but I couldn't figure out the assembly structure. unfortunately I didn't have time for this. could you cancel the adaptive feature of the cover part and test it by reassembling it?
