Urgent! Export Assembly files from Solidworks To Inventor

Looking for an effiecient way to export assemblies from SolidWorks to inventor , I just need them as solid bodies and not as surfaces, few companies I've worked with sending me assemblies files that were converted to .sldprt and when i open them they appear as surfaces and giving me a headache in multiples tasks and drawing visiblity problems. is there any Plug-In for SW to do this in an efficient way ? STEP act the same . please answer only if you really tested it as i dont want to mislead the guys there.. Thanks

First ..what version of Inventor ...

ALso you should be able to open it right from Solidworks to Inventor...

If you're in 2016, you can use the AnyCad part of Inventor...

@Alexrose1942

Since you are using Inventor 2015..  First open the solidworks part by single select it from the list.  At the bottom of the open dialog, select the toptions button.  In the options, make sure self heal and the options next to it are selected.  I don't have Inventor 2015 currently running so I'm unable to post a screen shot of what I'm talking about.

mdavis22569 bet me to the reply but yes its only surfaces.  Either you will need to repair this yourself or ask for another file from your supplier.  See if they will provide a STEP file instead.

I regret to say, that derived single SLDPRTs made from SLDASMs are very often just garbage. This file is one of them. You can see that, if you're opening this SLDPRT with eDrawings.

Nevertheless I've tried to heal it. Here's the result. zipped as 2015 IPT and STEP.
