Updating center mark style

Hi, I would like my centerline markers to look the same as either my default center or my dash-dot line, unfortunately when I try to update center marker style the changes don't apply to circular objects and for linear objects they apply in unpredictable ways. How should I set up my style to achieve the desired effect?

Hi! I believe the linetype for Center Mark or Center Line is dictated by the Layer linetype. The settings associated with the Center Mark or Center Line only apply when the Layer linetype is set to Continuous.

Many thanks!

I have settings for you in the attachment.
You create a new layer, then adjust in Object, specify to the layer you just created....in Center Mark you also create a new one.
My new name has the word "Copy"
