Update Error Message

Can anyone help?

I get an error message when I attempt to install update 2020.0.1 update 

(Error applying transforms. verify that the specified transform paths are valid).

I have no idea where to go now . . .

Don't use Desktop App for this..  Its bloatware.. 

Go into your Autodesk Account, download the update and install it from there.  If that doesn't work you will need to provide the installation log files for the update.

Tried that and still no luck  - another error message

Do you know where I'll find the installation log?

If you bring up Windows/File Explorer and up at the top type %temp% (and hit a return/enter)..  It will take you to your personal temp folder.

This is the error message . . .

C:\Autodesk\WI\Autodesk Inventor 2020\x64\INV\inventor.mst>

I have the path to the INV folder but I do not have an .mst file.

I'm considering and uninstall followed by an install. As 2020 stands it's driving me up the wall.

You must've installed using the web installer/install now function.   I don't like the web installer..   You may have to uninstall and reinstall using the full software download method.
