Unexpected error

I just downloaded inventor professional 2018 and now i constantly get a notification from the Autodesk desktop App that is like this:

 

"An unexpected error has occurred. Server is unable to process this request. Please try again later."

 

This pops up all the time, even when i am not using Inventor

Did you purchase a license?

Are you downloading the trial version?

This is my suggestion.  If anything has installed at all, go to the control panel and uninstall it.  Then restart your computer.

Are you using your own PC or the schools?  Are there any restrictions running in the background like anti-viral software?  If so just to get through this, turn them off.

Hi! Does the error go away if you uninstall Autodesk Desktop App? You will need to turn off the application before you can uninstall it.
