Unable to rotate body about line

I seem to only be able to rotate a body about an edge. I need to rotate a body about a line. The dialog prompts to select a "line" but will not select a line in the visible sketch.

I need to do this many times in my project so complex workarounds won't help. I need it to do what the dialog says it can do. Any ideas.

Hi, unless this is a bug this is very confusing and I'm going to make a recommendation to change this. It's not looking for a line at all, it wants an axis. You need to create an axis (or use an edge) where you want the move to happen.

Hi! You may create a work axis based on the line. Then the work axis can be selected as a rotational reference. Another workflow to consider is to use Direct Edit -> Bodies -> Rotate. It does allow a line to be selected.

Many thanks!

This is being tracked internally as INVGEN-79055

I can't promise that we'll allow selection of lines, the decision might be to just rename the command, but it would be nice to clear up this confusion.
