Unable to open parasolid in Inventor 2023

When I try yo open a Parasolid file, inventor returns error "The file is a newer version than Inventor can read. Install latest updates and try again." All available updates are loaded but still unable to open.

Using Inventor 2023.2 but unfortunately I am unable to share the Parasolid due to NDA

Hi!

Probably the Parasolid file is coming from the most recent version. if it is the case, every year  Autodesk team has to work to update the translators to open those new versions.

When translators are ready, they launch the service packs to able that... probably in update 2023.3

Meanwhile, you can ask somebody to translate the parasolid file as a step, then you can open.

Hi Chris,

You will need to install 2023.3, when it becomes available. It will enable translation support for other major CAD vendors' file formats.
