Unable to locate setting: "Allow Automatic Unfold"

After we upgraded from Inventor 2023.x to 2025.2  I'm regularly getting this little thing in both parts and assemblies:

However, I can't find any setting with that name (or similar). Anyone who knows where to look?

Thanks reporting @EdvinTailwind. It's strange and I didn't notice such message before. Could you please give the reproduce steps about how to make it popup? Many thanks!

I haven't seen any obvious pattern when it happens, but I did some actions to force it, and it showed when I:

  • Created a new sheet metal part
  • Saved a sheet metal part
  • Changed to a tab of a sheet metal part
  • Changed to a tab of an assembly that contains a sheet metal part
  • Opened a checked-in drawing of a checked-out sheet metal part

There could be more triggers that I'm not aware of. I'm fairly sure it happened when I first created a new non sheet metal part, but now I can't reproduce it so now I'm thinking I'm just gas-lighting myself... 😄

Also note-worthy: The triggers above doesn't work every time, which make sit even more confusing. 🤔

Using Inventor 2025.2 (Build 293) , Vault 2025.2 (Build 30.2.90.0) and 3rd-party NTI for Inventor

Update!

Just discussed with technician from NTI (the 3rd party plugin provider) who confirmed this is related to their stuff, and where the setting is located. Unfortunately no solution at this point though.

Thanks your checking and quick update, @EdvinTailwind

Good to know you figured out it came from NTI (the 3rd party plugin provider).
