In all my years of creating parts lists in assembly drawings, I have never had the error shown in the attached file when trying to create a parts list. The error shows when I select a view. It reads: "The selected file or drawing view, <file name>, does not contain valid reference information for table creation." Sometimes I have received the notification that the BOM is disabled, I enable it, and the parts list is created. I have confirmed the BOM is enabled in this assembly file. I haven't had any luck searching the forums or using the online help.
I tried to create a parts list for another assembly that I have recently created a parts list for and got the same error message, so perhaps it is not the assembly file, but Inventor.
Using Inventor 2019.
