unable to bridge between cilinders in freeform enviroment in inventor 2020

When I try to make a bridge between two cylinders (see picture 1) I get an error that says it's not possible. I know that in previous versions of inventor it was possible to do this in this way.

If I select 3 or the 4 faces on one side or two extra on the side then it will be accepted

Hi! The behavior does not look right to me. I just try a similar case on the coming 2020.1 update. It seems to work. Could you retry it on 2020.1 update when it becomes available? If it still fails, please share the file here. There might be geometry specific issue.

Just wanted to comment that I am having the EXACT same problem, and this is even in the tutorial (Freeform 1) where everything is set up for you.  In task #3 in the tutorial, it asks you to bridge two cylinder sections between 4 faces of each cylinder.  Like the OP, I only get a preview when an odd # of faces is selected on the second side, so when I ultimately have 4 selected on each side, it gives me the 'Freeform Bridge failed' message.  All the parameters in the 'bridge' function are as specified in the tutorial.

Yes I think so, installed an update a few days ago. Desktop client says
there's no more updates available

I can't for the life of me figure out how to get to that page.  Clicking help from inside Inventor takes you to web help, clicking 'help' on Autodesk.com gets me nowhere either.  What I posted earlier I found by clicking the 'help' in the 'Autodesk desktop app.'

Can you walk me through the exact steps to get to that screen please.

Yeah I've clicked every black arrow available... I don't even know if you're talking about within Inventor, within the desktop app, or within web help, but since you aren't being very specific I guess I'll just post a photo of all three and their lack of what you're describing.

Well looks like now we are getting somewhere, it turns out that icon is hidden in inventor because I'm using a trial version.  If you looked at the photos I already posted, you can see what I'm talking about...

It says I have version 2020.0.1, which is not 2020.1.  How do I update if the desktop client says there areno updates available?

It says there are no updates available!!  Is this somehow related to the fact that I'm using the trial?  I haven't been able to work on this model for 2 days now and I really would like to make sure the program is stable and working properly before the trial runs out.  So far this isn't off to a good start.
