Tweak a component in the x and y direction at the same time.

Is there any way to tweak a component in the X and Y direction at the same time.  I'm doing an animation and making two movements makes it look jerky.

Hi! I guess you will need to rotate the triad axis around Z-axis 45 deg. Then drag X or Y.

Thanks.  Since this is an animation for an instruction video, i decided to use 3DS Max for the animation.  To me there was nothing wrong with the sidestep that I had,

but Sales wants pretty not effective.

You can move parts by driving constrains.  Check out Studio in Inventor.

Accepted solution

Create two separate tweaks as desired, then drag the second one in the timeline to be coincident with the first one.  Two (or more) tweaks can occur simultaneously.
