Trying to make platform raise and lower with turning screw

Hi, I'm trying to design a mechanism where a platform fixed with a thread nut to a screw will raise and lower as the screw spins. I already added the proper constraints to drive the screw and the screw will spin and go up and down in relation to the platform on the Y axis, but what I want is for the screw to stay in the same position spinning while the platform raises and lowers along the Y axis. I'm sure this is quite a simple step that I am missing. My design is shown in the screenshot. Help would be much appreciated!

Also was planning on having the screw turned by a worm gear attached to the bottom of the screw if you have any tips for that as well.

Where are the assembly's components?  Use Pack and Go to collect all files, zip and attach here.

You have the right idea, but this is more of a design inquiry instead of an Inventor inquiry.

You can use buy-out items to do what you want.

In any case, it all comes down to your space constraints, mounting, project requirements, and all that.

Without more information, it's impossible to make more suggestions.

Here's an example of a buy-out ball-screw jack:

We have a saying:'Why reinvent the wheel'?

(Unless it costs too much to purchase it!)
