Trying to get a round hole in a curfed surface with parameters

Hi

Im trying to get a round cutout on a curfed surface.
I want to cut it in the flat (first) sketch before bending it.
So i will need an oval shape.

In the Parameters you can see i tried to figure it out with the use of formules.
But clearly the formule is wrong.
Does someone know the correct formule?
I want to use this in a much larger design, this is a small example.

In the file below Hole_Height = 2039.468794
I need to come close to 720
I calculate the hole theoretic arc angle at Hole_deg = 134.005682
This is wrong.

Hi

You're overcomplicating this. Just draw a circle the finished diameter that you want in the curved face and using the sheet metal cut function make sure you tick NORMAL as the output. Inventor will work out the required shape to be cut.

WOW,  6 years work + basic + advanced training and still i did'nt know this 😬
I was always struggling with camfered sides in the flat pattern. (and correcting it in the dxf file)

It's so simple, i feel ashamed.

Thanks a lot!
