HI, i do a pattern and it not first time cut tool refuse to work (i have to use extrude command to cut some times).

I try to only cut some parts but it mark almost whole circle instead ( cut tool only save the part i do for do a full pattern).

Circular pattern (or any pattern) on sketch doesn't necessarily create end point constraints, so you have to constrain the endpoints to the outer and inner circle afterwards.

Why don't you cut the first one and then use pattern on feature level instead of on sketch level, though?

And how i constrain it easiest (more lines)?

Use the coincident constraint to attach a point to a line or arc.

I get this, is already constrain.

You can try and split the circles, then, to see if that creates an enclosed area.

It is -considerably- easier to just make one cut, and then use circular pattern on the cut, rather than on the sketch, though

Yes I redo the work, was not easy to get cut tool to not cut middle circle (i don´t now exactly how but i get it cut what i want).

so i do drawing and lay pattern after (i have to do a line in the center for circle command to work).

Yes i can do 🙂 is little messy, i try some different approach to get it work 🙂

Cut tool is hard some time to use (is cut middle circle to, gess this two drawings are to close).

Hi! This is related to profile recognition. Indeed, Inventor does not handle this kind of sketch well. Inventor recognizes sketch profiles by sketch constraints. As a result, when there is no constraint between sketch geometry, the given profile would not be recognized. We are working on a solution which will resolve the issues. If you are interested, you can sign up Inventor Beta (https://bit.ly/InventorBeta) to try out the Beta build.

Many thanks!
