Threaded - Dimensions in the drawing

Hello community,

I would like to have your help to solve this. Hope you can help. Thank you.

The following cylinder has a threaded  (Picture A)

ANSI  METRIC M,

Size 85x2

Class 6G

At the moment the drawing it is not giving me the possibility to show automatically the M85x2 as before (Picture B).

What is missing?

As you can see if I press RMB for both dimensions appear different options for the same thread. (Picture B and C)

Thank you.

Best regards,

Filipe

Your files for us to look at, and what version of Inventor you are using!

Update: here is how it works for me:

(view in My Videos)

You must use the Hole/Thread Notes tool, not the Dimension tool.

Hi @SBix26 !

Thank you very much!

It worked perfectly 😄

Thanks to teach me 🙂

And with the information shared by you I also understood that to use the same method in an assembly I have to activate the option  "Thread Feature".
