Thread Modeling

A check box when creating threads for cosmetic or modeled threads would be a nice feature.  With the addition of 3D printing having modeled threads is important.

Cool orange has a thread modeler add-in where it took the default cosmetic thread and actually cut threads into the part based on that.

Hi John, you can try the add-in above or Fusion can do this for you with a checkbox. Fusion also has a good 3D printing environment so if this is part of your subscription then that could be the best solution. 

I don't know of any plans to support this in Inventor at the moment.
