These Hyperlinks are making me hyper.

Most of the time, in my daily computer use (outside of Inventor), I want to be able to click on a hyperlink to an Inventor drawing (or a hyperlink to a drawing I've created in an Excel file), but I cringe because it's very unreliable/unstable.

Sometimes these problems occur:

-When I click on a hyperlink in Excel, I get a black bar across the top ribbon in Inventor blocking all the commands.

-I'll get a second instance of Inventor starting (when I want it to use the session I already have opened)

-It'll notify me that I have to resolve links (which doesn't happen if you open the same file from within Inventor).

-And sometimes, it just crashes without allowing you to save (esp. from File Explorer); instead, I am invited to write a "love letter" to the Inventor staff so I can explain all the things I did wrong since I woke up this morning.

Will this ever be usable? Are they (the programmers) even working on this?

Does your data structure rely on multiple projects - or do you have one project for "everything"?

Which version of Inventor?

Is Vault in the mix?

-One project file for everything (pointing at the root of all CAD files beneath it.
-2024.1.1 (latest).
-No Vault (4 users using the same project file).
