The mass of the top level is not correct

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with the mass of assembly at the top level. In BOM, all parts are correct but the top of the level of assembly is wrong. I did try to clear the mass property and update it again but it did not solve this problem.

Please help me in this case.

Many thanks.

Under Tools/Application Options/General tab, what is selected for Update Physical Properties on Save?

Hi! Are some of the parts set to Reference? Please share the files here. I would like to understand the behavior better.

Many thanks!

Hello Mr.

It did not solve that problem. Do you have another solution?

Thanks.

Hi! Absolutely! If the files (zipped) are less than 50MB, you can send it directly to me (johnson.shiue@autodesk.com). If the files are bigger, please share them with me on a cloud drive of your choice. I would like to understand the behavior better.

Many thanks!

Hi! Many thanks for sharing the files with me! I took a quick look and found out a subassembly had an overridden mass. Please go to the iProperty -> Physical -> clear out the overridden mass and volume. Then the mass prop will work fine.

Many thanks!
