Text Disappears when editing revision block in Inventor 2018

We just recently upgraded to Inventor Professional 2018.1.  When we try to edit text in a revision block, all the existing text to the right of the cursor disappears.  I'm seeing this issue in every install.

Workflow.  Edit revision block.  Place cursor where you want to edit the revision block text and all existing text to the right of the cursor disappears.  This is not good.

See the attached screen capture where I'm trying to edit the text.  Notice that that everything to the right of the number "1" I placed in the text disappeared.  All I want to do is insert some text.  Inventor is assuming I want to replace everything to the right of the cursor.

Hi John,

This is a known issue on 2018 RTM build. It has been fixed in subsequent updates. Could you install 2018.1 Update at least?

We are already running Inventor 2018.1 so the problem still exists.  We will wait for a fix to be announced.  Thanks!

Hi Mark,

This is a funny story.  I originally did install update 2018.1.2,  but we were all having right mouse clicking issues with the marking menu.  I uninstalled 2018.1.2 and when back to 2018.1 and the right mouse click issue went away.  I decided to change my deployment to install 2018.1 for the remainder of my upgrades.  So this is a story or which bug is a bigger pain.  We have had our hand full of bugs with our Inventor 2018 upgrades.  I'm hoping that update 2018.2 fixes them all.  LOL!

Hi John,

The right-click issue can be avoided if you turn off Marking Menu. Go to View -> User Interface -> uncheck Marking Menu.

We all use the marking menu a lot and would prefer not to turn it off.  I think we are going to wait for the next update and hope that it fixes both the disappearing text and the marking menu issue.
