Tech preview of LaunchPad for Product Design Suite available on Autodesk Labs

We launched a new technology preview today. We would love your feedback.

The LaunchPad Technology Preview accelerates design efforts by providing a single portal into Product Design Suite applications, project data, and workflows. The LaunchPad’s one-click workflows prepare your design data in the Suite environment that is most appropriate to your task so you can quickly start designing, engineering, simulating, and visualizing your design.

I would like to make you aware of a problem that may affect some people.  The problem resulted in missing workflows in the launchpad.

If some workflows are missing from the Product Design Suite Launchpad it may be because the application used in those workflows was installed as a standalone product versus as part of a suite.  To correct this situation uninstall the standalone application and the Launchpad, then reinstall the application using the suite installer and reinstall the launchpad.

I encourage everyone to give the launchpad tech preview a try.   Send us an email with your feedback to abs.prds.launchpad@autodesk.com and it will go directly to the launchpad team.

I'm looking forward to your feedback!

Yes it is just a technology preview to illustrate the concept. A production version would have to accommodate 3rd party apps.
