Tangent Constraint results vary

I have two crossmembers in my device following tracks on cam plates (see video).

As I say, the problem is to get the inner follower to go all the way around the track.

I have to check the whole model to see what is going on.

But have you tried the Contact Set + Activate Contact Solver

The surface that you use to make the tangent constrain is not created from 1 spline.

I have modified your model a little bit but it is done within Inventor 2019.1.1 release.

The problem you have is the curves are not tangent.

That was the problem alright.  I redid the inner cam with one spline and all was spot on.
