When starting from scratch and creating a pipe model. Is it important to use NS, SN, OD, PL as parameter names?

Should these columnsnames exist in the content center table?

Because if you author an ipart as a tube&piping component, you have to choose colums (whatever they are named) as what parameter you map to "Nominal Size", "Schedule Number",...etc

Conduit iParts must contain these five columns. The column names are unimportant. The ND, SN, OD, ID, and PL are parameter columns:

ND	Nominal size of the pipe. The Nominal Diameter (ND) column is critical within Autodesk Inventor Tube & Pipe for matching compatible part sizes. It must contain unitless values for standard dimensions, such as 1/2, or 3/4. Examples for metric dimensions include M15, M20, and so on. It should not be specified as 1/2 in, 1/4 in, 15 mm, 20 mm.
SN	Schedule number for different thickness
OD	Outside diameter
ID	Inside diameter
PL	Pipe length

In the family table, the name of the column can be anything you want but the column should be based on that parameter. 

Meaning the column in the family table could be called NOMDIA but that parameter its based on is ND.

Sorry it should be column caption and not column name..   I think that's a typo in the help..

The column name is the important piece but the column caption can be anything as long as it meets the requirements.

Are the original master iparts available from the standard CC tables that came in the box? Or can I recreate an ipart from a CC parts, once an instance is created in the CC library?

I mean, than I have a barebone to start from and be sure nothing lacks.

Years ago and from my understanding, content center was purchased by Autodesk.   I'm not sure how it was originally developed but to answer your question there's no master iParts for it.

However you can create a master iPart from a custom content center part but you what are you trying to accomplish?  It may be worth the effort just to start from scratch and do it yourself.

What I am trying to accomplish is to create our company custom CC. I started from scratch so far, and it kind of works. I am affraid to make some mistakes that are not visible yet, but will reveal as we all start using the CC and I have to redo things... like stated here: https://blogs.rand.com/manufacturing/2015/12/custom-inventor-tube-pipe-styles-modelling-a-custom-par...

Any extra characters in the NS column beyond that noted above will cause the style creation in the Tube & Pipe environment to fail. To make matters worse you will not notice any problems until you have gone through a substantial amount of work creating, authoring and publishing the part, and then attempt to create the Tube & Pipe style using that part.
