Hi Chris,

Do you know what Inventor 2017 build you are on? Go to Help -> About. Go to Inventor Install files and run  \Setup\x64\LWS\AutodeskDesktopConnect.msi

Many thanks!

Hi Chris,

I still need to know what exact build of Inventor Professional 2017 you are running. Please start Inventor and go to Help -> About.

Many thanks!

Hi Chris,

It is not in a file. It is in a dialog. Start up Inventor and find Help menu (with a question mark) on the far right -> click on About. It will show the build number of Inventor you are running.

Many thanks!

Do a backup of your Application Options and User Customization and use the reset utility:

Chris,

My first thought would be some kind of corrupt of this config file. I would go to the folder "C:\Users\Chris Garneau\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Inventor 2017\" delete the file InventorConnectUIConfiguration.config then restart Inventor.

This file stores the location and sizes of the Connected Design dialogs and panels on the screen, when deleted they will go back to the default and the config file will be recreated.

Thanks,

Danny
