Sweep not working

See attached file: I am trying to create a weep of Sketch55 along 3D Sketch2, but as soon as I select the path Inventor is taking forever and eventually I have to close Inventor. I tried several times. Is there anything I am doing wrong?

Is there a logical reason that you used Splines in your 3D sketch rather than Arcs or Bends?

Edit:  In 15+ years of using Inventor I have used a Fixed constraint maybe twice.

Why are  you using Fixed constraints - I do not see a logical purpose in this design?

At first I couldn't get arcs to work (tangent). I fixed that already, but still the sweep is not going well.

Well, I'm alway there, but I can't get this point to work:

When I pick the line after the arc, the sweep is not working anymore. Any ideas?

The same goes here. When I pick the path, the preview is fine, but then the message "The attempted operation did not produce a meaningful result. Try with different inputs."

Appearantly this was not working. I eventually first laid out the track in a 2d sketch, projected the lines on to several planes in a 3d sketch and connected the inclines from there.

Hi Guys,

Just to provide some update, this issue has been reported as INVGEN-30392. This is a bug. It should never hang.

Many thanks!
