Surface can't be trimmed

Open a data to fix these surfaces ,and  clicking "trim surface".

It shows "Unable to trim. The selected component has no surface"

but i assure the surfaces are cross, like as picture.

Is there any ways to solve it ?

Can you load a model file?

Have you tried to create a "boundary" and then trim/cut?

Did you Unstitch the surfaces first?

Attach the file here and end all doubt.

Hi! I guess there is a tiny gap somewhere. I would use Extend tool to extend the vertical surface a bit so that the unwanted cylindrical portion can be trimmed. Then you will need to repeat the step by use the cylinder to trim the vertical surface.

i think you're right.

because the model is composite, so that when i click  "trim", it shows no surfaces can trim.

Didn't see any button is "Unstich", so want to ask you how to unstich a composite to many surfaces.

Want to ask a question is how to check a gap between two surfaces .

If i choose a complex surfaces, and it will show a highlight .

Hi! There isn't a tool to check the intersection within a Composite body (surfaces and solids). You may use Zebra Analysis to check but it is not easy to see.

To check intersection between two surface bodies, you could use 3D Sketch -> Intersection Curve. If there is a clear intersection, the curve will be created.
