Welcome to the forum!
Can you share some more detail about the steps that led to this failure? Are you able to share your assembly here as a .zip?

Hello CGBenner,
This happens in any assembly: the frame generator does not allow me to select the geometries and create the structure.
The same happens if I create a part in a 3D or 2D sketch.
Attached is a video with the screenshot, the assembly and the part in a .zip file.
Thanks in advance
@rag22YC4X
I think I see the problem. Frame Generator requires that the frame sketch is placed into an Assembly file as a separate Part file. In your video it appears that your sketch is in the Assembly file.
So:
Hopefully this helps. 🙂

Hi! Another thing to look at is about Content Center settings. Try starting a new assembly and insert a Content Center part from the CC Library. Does it work? Close all files -> go to Project setting dialog -> click on Configure Content Center (the button at the bottom on the right). Make sure the desirable libraries are selected.
Many thanks!

Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I did the assembly and part in separated files - in attached .rar file, 'Montagem1.iam' is the assembly and 'Peça2.ipt' is the part.
Even so, the problem happens...
Hi @johnsonshiue ,
Thanks for your help.
I did what you said, I was able to insert the frame via the CC Library, and all libraries were selected.
This problem occurs with any type of profile, from any library - I could not select the geometry in the process, and it didn't happen until a week ago, when I created a new profile and a new frame family.
I'm sending an attached image of the Content Center configuration, where I highlight the new family created.
Thanks in advance!
Hi! Based on the error message, it seems to be similar to the following article.
INVGEN-29424, the defect associated with the article has been fixed as of Inventor 2021. What release of Inventor are you running?
Many thanks!

Hi @johnsonshiue ,
Thanks for your help, I did all the steps just like in the article, but not works - the problem still happens by the same way.
I'm using Inventor 2021.
Regards
Hi! Did you install the latest Inventor 2021 update? Another test to try. Activate the Default project and go to Tools -> App Options -> File -> Configure Default Templates -> select the desirable standard and unit. Try creating a simple assembly with a box part. Start adding a frame member. Does it work?
If it does, likely your Standard ipt/iam template files might be corrupted. Create a new set by using the above "Configure Default Templates" workflow.
Many thanks!

Hello! Thank you so much for this.
Your solution worked, when making the assembly and creating the structure from the Default project. I updated the template units and standards, but used the same templates, and it worked. The strange thing is that the problem continues to happen when I do this from the project I usually use, even using other templates. Would you tell me what might be wrong with the project to bring this about?
Thank you again!
Hi! I suspect your other project template path does not have Standard.ipt or Standard.iam template files. You do need those in certain workflows (Frame Gen, Import, and so on)
Many thanks!

This was the solution that helped me the most. I found that I still have problems with the structural profile that I created, but I am able to solve, in general.
Thank you very much for your attention!
